As the weather gets cooler and summer starts becoming a mere memory, we turn our attention to the fashions for the 2010 fall/winter season. This season the trends seem to be deep and dark or big and bold, however there have been a few unexpected players in the colour wheel.
Camel is the colour for the 2010 fall/winter season. Choose items in this neutral colour if you are going for a trendy, yet sophisticated look this fall. Choosing items in cashmere or merino wool will not only keep you warm but will serve you for many seasons.
Grey, while a staple on the runway, still rates as a popular neutral colour this fall. For lighter skin tones, grey can be a much softer choice than black. Choose grey jeans or accessories such as boots or a scarf.
Black will always be in fashion for fall, heading into the winter. As the weather becomes cooler, summer fashions can be carried over into fall with black tights under those skirts and shorts.
Other colours proving popular for the new season include metallics in gold, silver and copper, mixed olives, rich purple hues and the surprise choice for this season’s trends- pale blue.
