Summit Entertainment, the producer of “Twilight“, the famous film saga of teenage vampires and wolf-men, has just announced through a message on Twitter that the Venezuelan born designer Carolina Herrera has been chosen to create Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) wedding dress in “Breaking Dawn Part1“. Though no details about how the dress will be have been revealed, if it follows the line of Herrera’s collection 2012 for brides, the gown will have a modern style mixed with touches of vintage, embroideries of silver or laces. Though knowing Bella’s character one may assume that is will not be a very overloaded design, but a rather simple one.
The designer has declared to be happy to enter the vampire saga; in a communiqué she has expressed her pleasure with the contract. “It is always a great pleasure to design any wedding dress, but this one was particularly special “, she affirmed. “Kristen is an impressive girl and her character, Bella, will make a beautiful bride”, Herrera pointed out.
Carolina Herrera’s dresses are innovative and spectacular at the same time. Regarding her 2012 collection we can emphasize the cuts siren type with long tails. look also at the fresh flowers placed in the hair of the brides, an elegant alternative for the traditional accessories of the hair. Another Herrera’s detail on the wedding dresses are the embroideries, and we like the way Carolina Herrera handles them. Last but not least, we wonder whether Bella’s dress will have any touch in black, as in some of Ms. Herrera’s designs for 2012.
